Challenge : Electrod inversion detection in ECGs
By Cardiologs

Description

Electrod inversion detection in ECGs

ECG is a temporal signal measuring the electric activity of the heart. It is very easy to record: 3 electrodes are placed at the extremities of the limbs, and 6 are placed on the chest. These 9 electrodes generate 12 temporal series.
The position of the electrodes is very important in order to be able to correctly interpret an ECG. However, electrode inversions (inverting the locations of two electrodes) are frequent and can make an ECG look falsely abnormal.

CardioLogs Technologies was created in April 2014 at the interface between Health and Big Data industries. Leveraging on cutting-edge machine learning technology and considerable amounts of data, we develop and commercialise medical diagnostic support tools to all health professionals. Our mission is to facilitate the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases. Our activities today focus on the development of an artificial intelligence able to bring cardiology expertise closer to other health professionals, particularly where cardiology expertise is rare.
